We run an appointments system both at the main surgery and our branch surgery in Old Goole. Same day appointments are released at 8.00 AM that morning so we advise ringing as close to this time as possible in order to book an appointment for that day.
A percentage of our appointments are available to pre-book, including workers clinics at our main surgery from 7.30 – 8.00 AM on a Wednesday and from 8.30 – 11.00 AM on a Saturday morning. We do however have to ensure there are a percentage of appointments available for those who require ‘on the day’ appointments.
Teenagers are allowed to make appointments for themselves and attend by themselves without needing their parent's permission. They are entitled to confidentiality and privacy as much as anyone else.

We have a team of 4 Clinical Practitioners: Anita Kenny, Ian Blease, Dan Macefield and Jane Black. They are trained to work alongside the GP’s and are able to prescribe medication and refer to other health services/hospitals. If your complaint is something the Clinical Practitioners are able to deal with we ask you to please allow our reception team to book you in with them in order to enhance GP availability. Unfortunately our clinical practitioners are unable to issue sickness certificates. However, they can arrange for one to be done at a later time by the GP.
You can now book and cancel appointments, order repeat prescriptions and view your coded medical record online. To register for the service you will need to personally attend the surgery and bring some photographic ID with you such as a passport or driving licence. When you have done this we will provide you with a user name and password. You can then access the service by clicking the above logo and by going to the following web address:
The practice now uses the ‘eConsult’ system. This is ideal for patients who find attending the surgery inconvenient as it allows our patients to consult with their GP practice regarding both clinical and administrative queries. If your problem can not be dealt with via the eConsult site then your query will be passed onto one of the GP's at the practice. Please ensure your provide correct contact details as a member of staff will contact you before the end of the next working day.

The practice's DNA (Did Not Attend) rates throughout July 2018 alone are as follows.
This amounts to approximately 39.6 hours of clinical time that was wasted by DNA's. Patients who fail to attend their appointments/ don't inform us they are no longer going to attend, cost the practice and patients. All of the above appointments could of been offered to other patients.
We ask patients to please inform us as soon as possible if they are no longer able to attend.
