Do you have any views about the quality of services we provide?
Are you interested in being involved in the range of services we provide?
If your answer is yes, then you may wish to join our Patient Participation Group...
The first meeting of the Bartholmew Medical Group practice Patient Participation Group (PPG) was held on 11 October 2011. Since then the PPG has met regularly and continues to deliver benefits both to the practice and all its patients.
The PPG consists of a small group of volunteer patients, representative of all patients within the practice, together with practice staff and GPs.
The PPG's Aims are to work in partnership with the practice as a whole to:
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of services and the quality of care
- Foster improved communication between the practice and its patients
- Provide practical support for the practice to implement change
- Help all patients take more responsibility for their health
The PPG meets, at the Medical Centre, approximately four times a year, from 6.00pm to 7.30pm, plus occasional ad-hoc meetings and/or information sessions in support of the PPG's aims.
New representative patient members are always welcome. If you think you could act as a 'critical friend' to the practice, and would like to volunteer on behalf of all patients, please apply to Jo Panizales, the Practice Manager's PA, on 01405 767711.
Please note: The PPG is not a forum for the discussion of individual medical conditions or for raising individual complaints relating to the NHS, the practice, or its staff/doctors. Details of the practice's complaints procedure can be found here
