Our practice hosts the following services and clinics:

Asthma Clinic

  • Additional InformationThis is run by our specialist practice nurses, by appointment only. Please contact reception to arrange an appointment. Please bring your inhalers with you to your asthma review.

Dermatology Clinic

  • Additional InformationThis is run by Dr Kurtis, by appointment only. A doctor will refer you if you require an appointment to see him in this clinic.

Diabetic Clinic

  • Additional InformationThis is run by our specialist practice nurses, by appointment only. Please enquire for details.

Heart Disease Clinic

  • Additional InformationThis is run by our specialist practice nurses, by appointment only. Please enquire for details.

Baby Clinic

  • Additional InformationThe baby clinics are run by a GP in conjunction with the Health Visitors/Practice Nurse for child development checks and immunisations. The clinic also allows an opportunity to discuss problems such as sleeping, feeding and child health worries.

Travel Vaccinations

  • Additional InformationIf you are going on holiday and will require vaccinations we ask you please print the downloadable form on the 'Travel Vaccination' page and return your completed copy to reception. Alternatively, copies can be obtained from the reception desk at both surgeries.

    Forms MUST be returned at LEAST 8 weeks prior to travelling to ensure our practice nurses have time to check your vaccination history and where applicable, book you in for the appropriate vaccinations.
    Please note, not all vaccinations are available on the NHS, some have to be sourced and paid for privately.  If you are travelling at short notice or do not return your form in time, we may be unable to offer you an appointment and would therefore ask you to attend a travel clinic.

Flu Vaccinations

  • Additional InformationAn influenza vaccination is particularly recommended for patients with heart, lung or kidney disease, diabetes, residents of nursing and residential homes, pregnant ladies, carers and patients who are immunosuppressed. Please contact our receptionist in autumn for details of our flu vaccination clinics dates and to make an appointment.

Minor Surgery

  • Additional InformationThe GPs carry out minor surgical procedures in conjunction with the Practice Nurse/Health Care Assistant, by appointment. Your doctor will be happy to advise you further on this service.

Other Services

  • Additional InformationInsurance medicals, HGV, PSV and pre-employment medicals can be arranged with the doctor. A fee is charged for this service in line with recommended guidelines.

Cervical Smears

  • NameLadies' Clinic
  • Additional InformationThe smear test is a simple and essentially painless procedure, which is important in the early detection of conditions which could, if left untreated, develop into cancer.

Family Planning

  • Additional InformationThe practice offers a full range of family planning and contraceptive advice including the fitting of coils (IUCDs) and Nexaplanon, prescribing the oral contraceptive pill and advice regarding various other methods of contraception. We also prescribe emergency contraception. This advice is available to women of all ages, but particularly young females, and is entirely confidential.

Sexual Health Clinic (GUM)

  • Additional InformationThis clinic is run as a walk-in centre. It is available to anyone who lives in our practice area even if you are not a patient of ours. The sessions run from 9.00am until 6.30pm every Tuesday in the community area of the health centre. The practice does not run or co-ordinate these sessions.

NHS Healthcheck

  • Held byThe Helath Care Assistants
  • Additional InformationThese health checks are for East riding residents between the ages of 40 and 74 who are not already under regular monitoring or treatment for other services. Ring to check if you are eligible and if so, make an appointment.
    This service is also available for East Riding residents who are not registered with our practice. It is free for everyone.
